The Extraordinary Differences Between Catholics and Protestants

Picture
Roman Catholic Theology is not Christian. It denies any value in Christ’s sacrifice. And it invents many intellectual devices that are completely unrelated to God’s word in the Bible. It is one theological catastrophe built upon another. A house built on the shifting sand of men’s laws not on the solid rock of God’s Laws.

The understanding of the nature of Christ and the nature of sin are the theological seeds that can lead to wrong thinking or right thinking – to the pits of hell through Babylon or to heaven. It is that serious! And most think its OK not to understand these things, but by not understanding they will be swept along in their ignorance as the whole world wonders after the Beast in all the deceptions Christ warned us about. In answer to the questions from His disciples He first said beware that you not be deceived.

Catholics believe that Christ came in divinity not in human flesh. God tells us in the Bible: “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, this is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2 John 1:7).

If Jesus came in full divinity His death at Calvary has no significance. It was a nice gesture by a kind God who knew He was immortal. His genuine overcoming of sin in fallen human flesh is lost as the great redemptive sacrifice that the Bible’s Old Testament points forward to and the New Testament refers back to. To support this false belief Catholicism created the immaculate conception through Mary which has nothing to do with the Bible. Nowhere in God’s word does it say we are to worship Mary.

Christ’s nature was divinity cloaked in humanity. He lived a sinless life surrendered to the leading of the Holy Spirit before leaving heaven so that as a child He could be led away from sin until His conscience was formed. You and I are to be humanity cloaked in divinity through our faith and conscience in Christ led by the Holy Spirit.

Original Sin is a doctrine of devils. “In the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1).
This belief that a human baby is guilty of sin the moment it is conceived before it is born and may only finally gain victory over sin when Jesus bestows glorification, is again straight from the enemy of souls. It is designed to make you feel it is OK to continue in your propensity towards sin rather than resisting the propensity to sin.

The definition of sin: “sin is the transgression of the Law”(1 John 3:4). Once a person understands right and wrong in their conscience around the age of 10–12 for many, then when they transgress it is sin. At a certain point in life many are convicted and are reborn through the love and faith of Jesus Christ accepting His sacrifice and victory as a human being without sin. Through our faith, repentance and confession and by His grace, His forgiveness we are cleansed of our sins and by beholding Him our character may begin to reflect His. His cloak of righteousness covers us, an imputed righteousness. “Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him” (1 John 3:6).

The Full Catastrophe of Satanic Roman Theology
– Satan’s 3 Lies to Eve Form the Foundation of Only One Religion (Gen 3:4&5)
1. Ye shall not surely die – Immortality of the soul in everlasting torment or delight. The Bible teaches death is like a sleep until the first or second resurrection.
2. Ye shall be as gods – Heretic mystic traditions teach of an esoteric experience becoming as god. Follow a pseudo divine inner self rather than the will of God. The Bible teaches you are human until Jesus returns.
3. Knowing good and evil – God’s intention was for us to have nothing to do with evil. Our lives were intended to be immersed in righteousness only. Our character must be transformed here and now. The only thing you will ever take to heaven is Christ’s character. Blessed are they that do His commandments.

Indulgences and purgatory are the inventions that really got up the nose of Martin Luther the powerful reformer. The Bible tells us death is like sleep until the resurrection. “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten” (Ecc 9:5).

In this Roman Catholic fantasy the Pope will go straight to heaven but you and I will go to purgatory – a place of never ending, agonizing torment. This false prophet has the gall to tell us as a human being he or one of his priests can accept our confessions. Or that we can buy an indulgence whereby his merit will be shared with a relative who can then go to heaven. How can anyone worship a vicious God like this who can send people into everlasting, agonizing torment?

It is just like me saying something to my wife that upset her. Then I apologize to her and ask her to forgive me. She sees I am sincere, agrees to forgive me and accepts my apology. Then I turn and begin to walk away and suddenly there is a thunderous, painful crash on my head as she smashes a pan over my head. “Ouch, what was that for?” Well I forgave you but this is your punishment.

In the time of Martin Luther indulgences were a corrupt business to build expensive cathedrals and support the lavish lifestyles of Catholic leaders. Jesus was born in humble circumstances and led a life free of worldly habits. Do you have the fertile theological seeds for everlasting life or the terminator seeds of Babylon?

The Roman Emperor Constantine Changed God’s Seventh Day Sabbath of Saturday to the Pagan First day Sunday. Constantine did this to accommodate pagan peoples as his hold on political power was weakening. The Roman church holds this as her mark of authority.

The Seventh Day Sabbath was instituted, blessed and sanctified by God at Creation. It is the only reason why we have a seven day week. Jesus died on Friday, rested in the tomb on Saturday and was raised on Sunday. The Ten Commandments were written in stone by the finger of God to show their eternal application. The Fourth Commandment begins with the word “remember” because He knew most would forget this important sign that we are His people.

Several times throughout the Bible we are told not one jot nor tittle shall pass from the Law. Come out of Babylon! “Come out of her my people that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4)

The tables below show the dramatic changes the Roman church has made to the Ten Commandments despite the warnings in the Bible that not one jot nor title shall in any way pass from the Law. Do you want to follow God’s Law or man’s laws?

 The Ten Commandments:
Exodus 20:2-17, Deuteronomy 5.1-21.
  • As in the Old Testament(this page),
  • As changed by the Catholic church(next page),
  • As in the New Testament(following page)

  1. I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

  1. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

  1. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

  1. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

  1. Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

  1. Thou shalt not kill.

  1. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

  1. Thou shalt not steal.
  2. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

  1. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

The Law as Changed by the Roman Church
- The General Catholic Catechism

  1. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain. (The Second Commandment has been left out. Instead substituting commandment 3)

  1. Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. (The Sabbath Commandment has been changed in wording and meaning and should be commandment #4.)

  1. Honor thy father and thy mother. (actually #5)

  1. Thou shalt not kill. (actually #6)

  1. Thou shalt not commit adultery. (actually #7)

  1. Thou shalt not steal. (actually #8)

  1. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. (actually #9)

  1. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife. (actually first part of #10 - the tenth commandment has been split in two)

  1. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods. (actually second part of #10)

Q. “Have you any other way of proving that the Church (Catholic) has power to institute festivals of precept?”

A.  “Had she not such power…. She could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week for Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is no scriptural authority.” – (Roman Catholic Doctrinal Catechism, p.174)

“Prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the Roman Catholic Church alone. The Bible says “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” The Catholic Church says, No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week. And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the Holy Roman Catholic Church.” (Thomas Enright, CSSR, President, Redemptorist – Roman Catholic – College, Kansas City, Missouri, February 18, 1884
The Law of God in the New Testament

  1. “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” (Mat 4:10)

  1. “Little children keep yourselves from idols.” “For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s devices.” (1Jn 5:21; Acts 17:29)

  1. “That the name of God and His doctrine be not blasphemed.” (1 Tim 6:1)

  1. “Pray ye that your flight be not in the winter neither on the Sabbath day.” “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath; therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.” “For He spake in the certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all His works.” “There remaineth therefore a keeping of a Sabbath to the people of God. For He that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.” “For by Him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth.” (Matt 24:20; mark 2:27-28; Hebrews 4:4,9,10; Col 1:16)

  1. “Honor thy father and thy mother.” (Matt 19:19)

  1. “Thou shalt not kill.” (Rom 13:9)

  1. “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” (Matt 19:18)

  1. “Thou shalt not steal.” (Rom 13:9)

  1. “Thou shalt not bear false witness.” (Rom 13:9)

  1. “Thou shalt not covet.” (Rom 7:7)

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt 5:17-19)

The Capitulation of Protestantism

There is no more protest. Now that people in many Christian denominations are not studying their Bibles as much as they used to. There is no reason for the protest. Fifty years ago every protestant denomination taught Luther’s correct exegesis of Daniel and Revelation – that the Roman Church is Babylon – the Beast of Revelation. Rome has not changed. She is smiling and seducing the powers of the world. She is angling to bring Sunday worship into legislation – it is her mark of authority directly opposed to God’s mark of authority of the Seventh Day Sabbath. She is drawing all the ailing protestant churches towards a unity – “the doctrine is unimportant, unity is important”. This is a counterfeit unity before the genuine.

The doctrine of Jesus Christ is all-important and it astonished its Jewish hearers two thousand years ago. If Jesus came and gave His doctrine today to Catholics and Protestants they would both be astonished. This doctrine is one that includes our accountability for our thoughts. As one with Jesus as Enoch walked with Him. To be nurtured through a loving faith in Jesus. A big faith including the ‘belief and diligently seeking Him’ of Hebrews 11:6 – A primitive godliness unseen since the time of the apostles. As the mind becomes one in Christ the body shall become filled with light – not a metaphysical, esoteric experience but a genuine connection of the conscience, through the Word. This is the Christianity of God’s Remnant People that involves the cloud and His righteousness. This is the Christianity the Reformation has fallen short of and is now moving backwards towards the Dark Ages.

Martin Luther would be mortified to find out the Lutherans are signing in 2017 a letter of apology to the Catholic Church for causing the separation. Stating that the Holy Spirit and the courage and sacrifices of the reformers were all moving on a lie. May God have mercy on the members of the Lutheran Church!

Suppose ye that I come to give peace on earth? I tell you nay; but rather division (Luke12:51).

Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication (Revelation 14:8).
